  5. Difference between cat5e and cat6 cables

Difference between cat5e and cat6 cables?

The general difference between CAT 5e and CAT 6 is in the transmission performance, and extension of the obtainable bandwidth from 100 MHz for CAT 5e to 200 MHz for CAT 6. This includes better insertion loss, near finish crosstalk (NEXT), return loss, and equal level far finish crosstalk (ELFEXT). These improvements provide a higher signal-to-noise ratio, allowing higher reliability for current applications and higher information rates for future applications. CAT 5e Features:
    • Enhanced "staggered" Cat5 RJ45 Connectors

  7. How do we use HDMI Cables?

In a few years, HDMI has become the standard audio & video connection for high-definition home theater gear. Every new HDTV has at least HDMI inputs, & devices such as DVR's, DVD players, Blu-ray players, game consoles (XBox, Play Station, Wii), & computers feature HDMI outputs to deliver audio & video. Having a single cable handling both images & sound has the potential to make home theaters much simpler, but that is not always the case. Faced with complex standards (HDMI one.2 vs. one.3), confusing buzzwords (Deep Color), large electronics stores (Best Buy, Radio Shack) & exorbitantly priced cables (Monster), lots of buyers may be tempted to throw up their hands & stick with the analog cables they know. Lucky for you, ConnectZone carries a great variety of HDMI cables at extraordinarily low prices!

  10. What is 10G Fiber

What is 10G Optical Fiber? The 10 gigabit Ethernet (10GE or 10GbE or 10 GigE) standard was first published in 2002 as IEEE Std 802.3ae-2002. It defines a version of Ethernet with a nominal data rate of 10 Gbit/s, ten times as fast as gigabit Ethernet. 10 gigabit Ethernet defines only full duplex links which can be connected by switches. Half duplex operation and CSMA/CD (carrier sense multiple access with collision detection) do not exist in 10GbE. The 10 gigabit Ethernet standard encompasses a number of different physical layer (PHY) standards. It remains to be seen which of these PHYs will gain widespread commercial acceptance. However a networking device may support different PHY types by means of pluggable PHY modules and SFP+ is a popular module interface. At the time that the 10 gigabit Ethernet standard was developed, there was much interest in 10GbE as a WAN transport and this led to the introduction of the concept of the WAN PHY for 10GbE. This operates at a slightly
